Love BTR, just got a pair of Roberto Cavalli sunglasses for $50 instead of $380.00 but that is besides the fact as this is all about the kids.

If you already have an account with BTR you can just log in from there, if you are not familiar with BTR they basically require your email so you can view the deals, items are up to 80% off and so far it has been mainly clothing, shoes and jewellery (high end designer) however they have lately started to get more kid stuff, just got a pair of shoes for my son for $19.00 instead of $60.00 - the thing to keep in mind is that the deals are usually only for 2 days and sell out quick. I ended up purchasing separates because the ones that included everything from bed skirt to valances were either way to expensive ($200+)  or I could only find them in the States and then the duty & shipping would have offset any kind of savings.

Wacky Wednesday @ Ikea 12 Jan- 2011

I love Ikea - All my son's furniture is from that store and it was at a fraction of the price we would have paid at BRU and it grows with him as we just converted his crib to a toddler bed and his changing table to a dresser, very sturdy and it has a timeless look to it so we can keep it for a long time. Ikea's cribs have very high safety ratings btw.

Anywho, if you have an Ikea close by you should take advantage of Wacky Wednesdays. All locations have deals on Wednesdays and if it happens to be a deal for kid stuff I will put them on here because the savings can be huge.

Great coupons from Johnson & Johnson for new parents

Call the following phone no. 1-877-223-9807 and ask for the "new parents pack of coupons".

I received 3 x $1.00 off coupons for their baby products, includes Aveeno baby, and one "replacement item" coupon which can be used for any one item completely free. May I suggest using it for a baby bath kit because it counts as 1 item (only one bar code, might have to explain this to the sales ass.)  - they cost around $17 so YAY for a good deal. The call is less than 5 min - hope you like and please comment on how it worked out.

Once in a while I will come across something free, from experience I have discovered that it usually comes with strings attached or never receive the item, so I will only link to freebies that I have received personally and that is not a scam of any kind.

Lego is a great brand and here is a link for a free 2-year subscription to their magazine. my son is still a toddler but he is already receiving them now and it's so cute to have a little collection for him with his own name on the label. They are beautiful mags, some with 3D, and I highly recommend to order for girls as well. Expect a few months for delivery and then I believe its 6 issues a year. Enjoy....

As a SAHM, I'm always sorting through tons of web-pages looking for deals for my son. I rarely buy anything at full price but still enjoys good quality products as we can all find cheap but I want the good stuff.
